This about us section is primarily a potted history of the Victor Hugo in recent years.

A couple of years back saw us install a new deli counter and shop counter; we introduced more speciality products and had many successful tasting sessions. We are self-confessed 'foodies', catering for real food eaters and are dedicated to offering a wide selection of fine foods.

We also revealed that we are stocking many products supplied to us by producers attending the Edinburgh Farmers Market that takes place every Saturday from 9am until 2pm on Castle Terrace. We have many new products arriving each week at the moment and we have two formal tastings during the week and Saturdays. If there is a product you would like us to stock, please ask.
